Ashley Litzman
Human Resource Director
Ashley Litzman’s passion for early childhood education began at the age of 18, and she has dedicated herself to this field ever since.
With an education that extends beyond college into specialized training in business, Human Resources, and Early Childhood Education, Ashley aims to create the best possible environment for both staff and children. She played a key role in the launch of Pearland Kids Club and officially started in 2019, starting as a Toddler Teacher before transitioning through roles such as Floater, Food Program Manager, and Regional Manager. Now serving as the Human Resources Director, her focus is on crafting a harmonious, efficient, and enriching work atmosphere. Ashley believes that our society’s future lies in the hands of the children we nurture today, and she is committed to making their early years as wholesome, loving, and educational as possible. She adopts a balanced play-and-learn approach, driven by a teaching style that prioritizes positivity, love, and compassion. Outside of her professional life, Ashley is an avid reader and writer, with a love for outdoor activities like camping and indoor activities like sewing and DnD.
Reyna Benavides
Director of Administration
Reyna Benavides, serving as the Director of Administration at Pearland Kids Club boasts a career journey that commenced in 2016 as a lead teacher, steadily progressing to her current role.
With a steadfast commitment to operational excellence, Reyna oversees administrative functions across multiple centers, expertly managing staffing, scheduling, enrollment, and financial oversight. She takes pride in fostering a culture of compliance and standardizing policies and procedures. Beyond her professional pursuits, Reyna’s interests include cultural exploration through museums, cultivating a passion for plant care, and cherishing her role as a devoted mother to four.
Misty Sliger

Misty Sliger, a dedicated educator with over a decade of experience in early childhood education, brings boundless enthusiasm and expertise to the field.
Hailing from Houston, Misty’s journey has seen her in various roles, from teaching preschool to coordinating educational programs. Her passion lies in nurturing young minds and helping them flourish. With a background in teaching and program administration, she fosters individualized learning experiences that empower students for long-term success. When she’s not shaping the future of young learners, Misty enjoys reading, fashion, adventures, and live music concerts. She’s excited to be a part of your child’s educational journey and set the stage for their academic success.
Tamika Whitfield
Center Director (East Location)
Tamika Whitfield, a seasoned professional with a decade of experience in early childhood education, brings a wealth of expertise to her role as Center Director.
With a strong background in the field, including two years as an assistant director at Pearland Kids Club, Tamika has honed her leadership skills and operational acumen. Holding a director’s license, she has also been a dedicated teacher across various age groups for over a decade. Tamika’s personal philosophy on education is rooted in the belief that teaching is a gift of knowledge, love, and education to children that can never be taken away. She embraces a personalized approach to understanding and nurturing each child’s unique needs. Beyond her professional life, Tamika enjoys music, singing, and cherishing quality moments with her family.
Skylar Smith
Center Director (West Location)
Skylar Smith is on a mission to make a difference in the lives of children and families. With a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a determination to pursue a degree in Early Childhood Education, Skylar brings four years of child care experience to Pearland Kids Club.
She has previously served as a director, and her positivity shines through in her commitment to early childhood development. Skylar’s passion is fueled by the belief that these formative years are the building blocks for future success, and they’re dedicated to leaving a trail of joyful and lasting memories for the children and families they serve every day.
